Why do I still watch this show even though I'm completely annoyed by the actions of the characters, dislike them and think their storylines are not relateable at all. Its like a magical show where you hate everything and still feel responsable to know whats going to happen next.
So my question is; Why do you watch this show? And does anyone feel the same?
I have no idea why people watch it but I'm in the same boat as you. I hate-watch it whenever I come across it. They're all sooo annoying and there's doesn't seem to be anything redeemable about them at all. But I'm completely curious to see what horrible thing they do next. Ugh! Why! If she's the voice of my generation, I want to scream!
shareI hate that I love this show but that has more to do with Lena Dunham rather than the actual show. I do think that Hannah and Marnie are probably two of the worst characters ever but i really love most of the other characters and I actually really like the writing. I wish I didn't because I think Lena Dunham just oozes entitlement and ignorance and I hate that I could like something she created so much. It's definitely time for it to end though. These characters really haven't gone anywhere or grown in any way and it has gotten repetitive but I will miss a lot of the characters, aside from Hannah and Marnie.
