'Does he go down on you..'

"I do"

"Its what i like to do"

This is one of the most hilarious and at the same time inspiring masculine pieces of dialogue that a protagonist has ever uttered to someone in the history of film!

Brandon cuts to the chase and sexualises the situation instead of wasting time with small talk white noise nonsense.

Legend!

You said it! Viewed out of context Brandon's dialogue in this scene contains some of the sexiest lines ever written, but within the context of the film I found it terribly sad. This was such a brilliant, exhilarating film, and Fassbender's performance was unforgettable.

And you said it too! Thank you :) It really is a brilliant film and Fassbender is amazingly good. One of my, well at least all time top 20 films.

It was laughably corny.

reply

Not really... Considering his intentions at that point, it fit the scene Perfectly. It's not like he doesn't know how easy it is for him to seduce a woman. While playing it casually but confidently throughout the earlier parts of the film, here he just breaks down to the most sleazy form of what he's capable of doing.
