I never saw/heard Kody whine about the cost of the weddings. Kody wanted them to wait a little longer before getting married (Uh... probably to get to KNOW each other a little better first?) and I think he was taking into account the amount of work involved in preparing for a wedding which they were already doing for another daughter. There is no reason in the world they can't wait to get married... it's not like their sexual organs are going to dry up and blow away if they wait a few months.
Tony just assumed that the financial aspect might be why Kody wanted them to wait.
I think it was implied that Kody pays for the weddings. However, The Browns don't pay for any event that is televised. In addition, it may be a small amount, but anyone who is on screen gets paid. That's why they are showing this embarrassing 'Tony mess' and Tony is onscreen.

I'd guess they probably would, even with her pregnancy now, mainly because they showed both Jill (Duggar) Dillard & Jessa (Duggar) Sewald's weddings on TV, even though by the time they did (a few months later) both were already pregnant. lol

shareWell with a bunch of young adult kids now come a bunch of weddings. I knew that'd happen sooner or later, with how prolific both families are. At least for the Brown family the kids aren't totally following suit with the whole polygamy route...at least yet.
The Sister Wives show hasn't even aired one wedding yet.

I was saying Sister Wives hasn't shown a wedding yet because another poster was complaining about all the weddings - also talking about the Duggars. There's no reason they can't show Maddie and Caleb's wedding - it's not religious like Robyn and Kody's ceremony. There are going to be a lot of pissed off people, me included if they don't show it. If they don't air the wedding, what are they going to show?
