Regarding appearances...

I just want to touch on the subject. Boy, Kody does not care about a pretty face, does he? Physical attraction should never be the main priority-but it DOES matter.
Now, I'm going to just say this. They are all homely except Janelle. Yes she is large, but she has a pretty face. The other wives are quite the bunch of dogs. Everyone thought Robyn was the "hot new wife", why? Because she's thinnest? Have you seen her FACE? Jesus. And Meri is extremely harsh looking. The orange "tan" really doesn't flatter her. Not that my opinion matters, but oh well. There it is.

I don't think any of them are *that* bad looking, they're all very different looking though, which is weird, I guess Kody doesn't have a "type"... well... except for chubby.

I also don't think any of them are particularly good looking either, they're all very average. I could go into any mall, throw a rock and hit 4 women who would be much more attractive. They're all very generic and bland I think.

I think they are all nice looking. However, I don't think they do what they can to make themselves look as good as they can. They all have pretty faces plus we are seeing them on TV. In person, they might look different. The only issue I have which is probably shared with many people is their weight, not necessarily because of their looks, but their health.

Well Kody is no prize himself, he's basically a grown up, chubbier version of Shaggy from Scooby Doo. I think Janelle and Christine are pretty and I thought Meri was pretty when the show first started but she's gone too far with the orange tanner and eye makeup.

It's true, my kids watch Scooby Doo all the time and he even sounds like Shaggy! But hey, when I was in high school I had a friend who thought the guy working at the local gas station looked just like Shaggy and we had to go in there all the time to see him cause she had a crush him. Looks are subjective and there's someone out there for everyone, or 3 or 4 people for one person lol.

Yeah I wanted to add something similar. The surfer boy shag does not suit him. He is middle-aged with obviously thinning and unhealthy hair. In the pictures they sometimes show of him with short hair, I think he looked much more attractive. And regarding Meri I think my opinion just has a lot to do with the harsh fake tan she has. When the show first started her skin looked much healthier and natural. And the extreme closeups do not help. I don't know why they feel the need to zoom in on her so harshly.

I think Jenelle is pretty with pretty eyes. I also think Meri has pretty eyes. Robyn is not bad looking but that square jaw and chin really hurts her. Christine is the most homely out of all 4 of them. That dated bang, that witchy nose.

I think Christine is pretty. There is judging someone on what God gave them and on what we do with what God gave us. All the Sister Wives are pretty - they just don't do everything they can with what God gave them. If we're going to get in the weeds about beauty, a strong chin is considered way prettier than a weak one. Christine is extremely photogenic. She could be a model if she lost about 50/60 pounds.  Meri was adorable when the show started, but she gained weight and as we all acknowledge she does something to her skin and hair that is not attractive. I think Robyn is probably really good looking in real life. I don't think her 'big chin' in everyday life takes away from the rest of her attractive features. But I've always been partial to Janelle. When she is dolled up, she looks like Marilyn Monroe to me. So I think they all have their pluses and minuses.

I agree with you, I think they are all nice-looking women. I think Christine is the prettiest, and my husband finds Meri the most attractive, despite the orange makeup.

Christine got the hang of makeup and hairstyling over the summer, because she looks so much prettier now than she used to.

All of them are nice-looking, average women. Kody wouldn't be the 'hot guy' in any room.

There is a push by some people to have more "average" looking people in our movies and TV shows. We can't all be stick-thin models with pronounced cheekbones, almond eyes and a trout pout wearing designer clothing. But when we do get regular people on TV, the first thing people do is criticise their looks. As if the people on this board are 9s and 10s. I would hate to be on TV. I would start dieting and exercising more, and try to look my best a lot, which isn't how I live, so I would be miserable. Cut them some slack. I doubt anyone here is cover worthy of GQ or Vogue.

Wow b/c I bet you are the most beautiful person in the world, I mean you have to be in order to so harshly someone else's looks. Please post a picture of yourself so we can talk about your looks!
