12/4 and 12/11 Episode Titles and Descriptions

12/4 "Kody Takes Responsibility" -

Kody preaches forgiveness to Mariah in the aftermath of her mother's catfishing catastrophe; Madison and Mykelti anticipate their upcoming nuptials; Janelle and Meri's therapist outlines a bold plan for saving their relationship.

12/11 "Embarrassing the Sister Wives"-

Madison's bridal shower features a number of embarrassing gifts her mother had dreaded. Meanwhile, Mykelti and Antonio announce their engagement.

Both of these episodes are also 2 hours long.

I've never seen them speed up anything on Sister Wives like they have the Mykelti/Tony marriage. The accountants' heads must be spinning at TLC with the checks they're writing for weddings.

I am curious to see the reaction Mykelti gets when she announces she is engaged to the entire family. Even though Tony is a bit off I still hope people are excited for her, I mean honestly what Maddie is doing isn't much different or better than Mykelti.

It sounds from the promos things take a turn for the better if Maddie and Mykelti are swapping stories.

There is a preview showing on TLC that shows Kody talking to Tony:

"You have waited 21 years to have sex, what is six more months."

I just about choked on my coffee.

I think that is one reason that TLC loves the Browns, the stories are writing themselves. All they have to do is hang around with a camera.

I kind of miss the "let's precipitate a crisis episodes" like the cardboard race, or send them camping together on Mount Charleston, or loading them in motorhomes and driving across country, or even Robyn's purity speech in Sacrament Meeting.

Madison is more mature than Mykelti and there is a world of difference between Caleb and Tony. Out of curiosity I went on Tony's FB page and honestly, he seems like an immature wackadoodle. The Brown's have known Caleb forever, but barely know Tony, and Mykelti hasn't known him long either.

I agree. I don't see how Madison is more mature at all. She is the same age as Mykelti, she left school (and her scholarships) for a guy she wasn't even dating that long who is 10 years older than her. Yes the family sort of knows him but to say they were close is not true, some of the kids including Hunter had never even met him before Maddie started dating him. Then she says she will wait 3-4 years so she can do school before having kids and turns out not even 6 months after the wedding she is pregnant? Good luck becoming a lawyer now because I bet she will have atleast 1 more kid in the next few years.

Yes Maddie waited a little longer but the truth is Maddie said she had 6 months to plan her wedding (because she mentioned that she had to pick a wedding venue right away because she only had 6 months until the wedding when most people pick them a year in advance and if Mykelti announced her wedding to the family around the Hawaii trip (so sometime around March) and she wanted an August wedding that is also just 5 months to plan a wedding, not much shorter than Madison's time to plan the wedding.

I do like Madison so I don't want to be accused of bashing her but the truth is she isn't really more mature than Mykelti and didn't do anything that different than Mykelti. They did know of Caleb but they didn't know him that well really.

As far as I know Madison HAS NOT left school, I could be wrong.

As far as we know she could just be taking one class and regardless of how determined she is it will be extremely hard to do school and take care of children, not impossible but since she changed her mind from waiting 3-4 years for kids to not waiting at all who knows what else she will change her mind about.

She also did leave her first school that she had scholarships for that basically paid for most of her schooling for 4 years to be with someone she didn't know well that is 10 years older than her. She has made some questionable and in my opinion immature decisions just like Mykelti.

To me, Madison & Mykelti are as different as day and night. First, why does it matter how old Caleb is, except in a good way - that he's more mature. Mykelti doesn't seem to even care about school, at least Madison has finished at least one year and maybe 2 years of school. Plus Caleb is going to school too. So they are at least trying to better themselves. I think they knew Maddie was dating Caleb - that looked too rehearsed when she told them, but when Mykelti told Christine about Tony, that felt real to me. Tony just does not come off as someone you would want your daughter to marry - that is biased with the little we know but given all the circumstances, I look at the 2 girls' situations very differently.

It would be super hilarious but I doubt that TLC would show it.
