Why the repeats?
Tonight's show is mostly a repeat of last week's show with Maddie's shower hodgepodged in. Has the show always done that and I just haven't noticed? Thanks for any explanations.

shareThey've been doing this more and more. Last week's show was also just endless repetition and flashbacks. They simply don't have enough material to fill out an hour show, so we end up hearing the same thing said 12 different ways by 12 different people. It gets very frustrating and boring.
shareThanks for answering! Now they're stretching it to 2 hours and the 1st hour tonight was just repeats. It's lame enough that they take almost 7 months between filming and airing the show! How confusing and frustrating!
sharecandlemaker81,
It seems as though TLC is trying to make the show longer by combining a new episode with past episodes. Perhaps TLC needs to fill airtime?
Do you - or anyone - know where Logan is (the eldest child of Janelle and Kody). When the show first aired, Logan was in charge of all of the kids (cooking them breakfast, getting them school). Now his sister is getting married, and, Logan (a sibling that took on parent type roles) has nothing to say?
It seems strange with these longer Sister Wives episodes that there is not at least one interview with Logan - and/or - a scene showing Logan and his sister talking about the wedding. After all, this is the first Brown Sibling Wedding, Logan's sister (they have the same mother and father), and Logan as a child himself looked after Maddie when they were children growing up together.
Did something happen to make Logan become estranged from the family? It seems as though it has been a long time since Logan has been talked about and/or shown interacting with his family.

They have always repeated the storyline, it just seems longer because their episodes are now 2 hours. I have no idea why they're 2 hours, but one thing that has changed is you can see their episodes either on the TLC website or even on YouTube without paying for them - that's new and helps if you don't have a DVR and can't watch for 2 frigging hours.
I think one reason the older kids are on the show is so they can get paid and certainly the girls getting married get their wedding paid for which is great for them. Some of the older kids want to live a normal life and have distanced themselves from the show. Aspyn is president of her sorority this year so that probably keeps her busy and another reason to stay away from the show, except the couch or family scenes. She and Logan both attend UNLV and Logan is going to graduate this year I think, so he's busy with school and I believe he also works. Logan lives with his girlfriend Michelle who is already in graduate school - I hope we at least get to see Logan's graduation. Logan was looking at grad schools awhile back and he will probably be moving, taking Michelle with him. They probably won't get married until they both graduate from school. You've got to love that when you have 17 kids, they're bound to be different.
