I just checked the wedding registry and 52 items have been fulfilled, and 99 still need to be fulfilled.
For 400 invited guests that isn't a very good showing.
Wherever they had the wedding I hope it was inside. The high today in St. George was 44 degrees.

That article wasn't written since the wedding. They were just using 400 because that's what everyone has been saying.

shareIt makes sense since according to my friend that lives at Bloomington, the clubhouse was closed yesterday for a 'private event'. The latest picture looks like the garden area behind the clubhouse, that is between the 1rst tee and the 18th green.
One of the reasons that they were probably able to book the Bloomington Country Club with only 6 months notice is that the clubhouse was closed for a year for renovations. It just barely opened again in October. All of the 'in' places in St George are booked at least a year in advance.
You are right, as usual. What cracks me up about this article is that they list the menu which sounds sparse, then the dessert.
For dessert the couple offered eight different flavors of cake including carrot, red velvet, mocha, German chocolate, coconut, and caramel, tiramisu and tres leches.
Yes I smiled over the taco bar and the multitude of desserts.
shareThere's been about 1/10th of the publicity about Mykelti's wedding than Maddie's - probably because of the timing situation, so I'm sure they're not going to get as many gifts as Maddie and Caleb received. Plus I can't fathom 400 people. I will be very surprised if there were 300 at Maddie's wedding.

Mykelti and Tony celebrated their union with a retro Mexican themed reception, including a taco buffet and 8 different cake flavors. No detail was left unattended; the flowers were handmade, highlighting the maroon, silver, teal and yellow wedding color theme. Mykelti's A-line lace dress floated across the dance floor to Enrique Iglesias' "Bailando."
We can't wait to see these two take their next steps in life together.
