Mykelti & Tony

They just showed an 'update' from the wedding yesterday. Mykelti's dress looks beautiful. The huge surprise, from what you can see, Christine's dress looks beautiful and appropriate too. I'm going out on a limb and say they hired a wedding planner for Mykelti's wedding since they didn't have too much time. I know that is against the way they do things and Aspyn was making bouquets the other night, but I betcha they had some professional help.

reply

Mykelti looked pretty, Tony looked awful. The color and the outfit he was wearing mixed with his hair made him look bad.

reply

I doubt there's anybody or anything that could make Tony look good! I'm sorry but he's just creepy looking!

reply

He looks like a 45 year old loser who's given up on life even more. He always looks unkempt, like he needs a good scrub and speaks as if his mouth is full of food with random scraggly beard hairs everywhere. God, who marries this right out the gate?

reply

Yeah Mykelti and Christine looked great.

Hopefully they learned from Madison's mistake and hired a planner. Maybe they also picked a venue that helps you more on the wedding day. I made a comment about not understanding Maddie's stress with wedding planning, but now I see that her location had no services. No chairs, no decorations, no staff. I take back my previous comment. I get her stress. And I highly recommend marrying in a place that provides help, or at least provides a list of preferred vendors.

reply

Considering Maddie did this without a planner, I thought it turned out great, except having Kody officiate. I wonder if that was the show's idea. I know Caleb's dad said he didn't want to do it because his wife just died, but he was up there anyway. I think the show thought that would be cute. Well, it backfired. It sucked and ruined what I thought was an otherwise lovely day.

reply

And there was no need for Kody to say his name when he gave Maddie away. He was supposed to say "her mother and I do"

reply

Well, Maddie was the guinea pig. Maybe things turned out better for Mykelti - oh probably not since they got married in winter outside in Utah and then there's Tony... 

reply

Since it was only 42 degrees in St George yesterday I am sure the ceremony outside was very short so that everyone could flee into the Country Club to get warm during the reception.

I am sure that taco bar warmed everyone up (plus the air).

reply

I hope all the Brown girls are taking notes. Maybe when they get to Ari, they'll have an appropriate wedding in good taste.

reply

How ridiculous was that? I guess it's typical of Cody to make it all about him. He is almost as socially awkward as Tony! OK, bad example but I'm trying to make a point, haha.

reply

With him being the idiot he is, he probably would have said 'her mothers and I'. It's all about Kody all the time.

reply

ITA, Cody did a terrible job! He bored everybody stiff while yammering about his multiple marriages and his other daughters then blew through their vowes and right past their ring ceremony! He butchered an otherwise lovely ceremony!

What was up with Caleb's dad knighting Caleb? Is that something new?

reply

I don't know why Maddie even asked her goofball dad to officiate her wedding. He wasn't gonna do anything but make it all about Kody and his Kodettes. She knows her dad is a stunt queen. Maddie took the ring forgetting better than I would have. I wouldn't have let it show but I would have been fuming inside. There was no reason at all either for him to say "I, Kody Brown". We know who you are! Everyone there knows who you are. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked to join them on their honeymoon lol.

reply

Well, Kody and Caleb do have a bromance going, so Kody inviting himself on the honeymoon wouldn't be surprising. What a pompous ass.

reply

I have a very hard time with those two. They seem like they are little kids wanting to play house. There is nothing serious or sensible about them. She acts like a spoiled brat and he is goofy. I just can't take them serious at all...

reply

I am curious about what was going on with Mykelti when she moved to St George. Aspen said Mykelti was supposed to be working on herself and none of the sibs seemed very enthusiastic about the news of the engagement. Many of them have made references about Tony and his ability to keep Mykelti calm. It sounds like perhaps she was going off the rails at one point.

What is even more telling is to look at whom the siblings follow on Twitter and whom they don't.

What is even more revealing is whom Michelle follows out of the family.

reply

I don't have twitter. Who follows who and who doesn't follow who?

reply

I'm not on Twitter, so spill, please.

reply

DesertDude will find something out of nothing. Michelle follows 488 people. Do you know how long it takes to scroll down that many people? Too much time on your hands Dude. Too much time. 

mea culpa If DesertDude follows all these people, including Michelle, then it shows who you follow in common. So you wouldn't have to necessarily look at anyone's follow list. I follow no one from Sister Wives. I just look at their tweets every once in a while.

reply

then it shows who you follow in common.

Ding! Ding! Ding! You win the cookie!

What is interesting is that Mariah and Aspyn do not follow each other and Michelle only follows a few of the Browns, especially the adults.

reply

You follow all of them? Do you follow all the people in your TV shows? How many people do you follow? I try to keep mine under 200 but I'm a little over right now and I need to do some culling. Because many people I follow didn't tweet so much, but Trump raised many sleeping people. I read every tweet and if I don't, I get anxious. If I have them on mute, I still get anxious. Yeah, that's my OCD deal. 

reply

I follow 105 people and most of them are musicians. I just follow the Brown clan because it is easier to see what is happening with them by just clicking into the 'following' link. Besides on Sundays their tweets show up on my feed.

I never followed Trump, but I am sure he would have blocked me if I did.

reply

You follow 105 people that include all the Brown family? That's at least 15, maybe 20 people if you follow all the Browns. So out of 105 people you follow, 15 are the Brown family? But you don't follow anyone from NCIS?

I just follow the Brown clan because it is easier to see what is happening with them by just clicking on the 'following' link. Besides on Sundays, their tweets show up on my feed.
I have no idea what this means.
