Would Kody marry a 5th wife

If she was really hot and fell in love with him?
Hypothetical question 😊

reply

No.

reply

He's already said no more wives and kids and I think it's obvious he doesn't go for hot and where would he be where someone would 'fall in love with him'?

reply

Although you can't control who you fall in love with, I have serious doubts that anyone in their right mind would fall for a man who has 4 other women.

reply

When they moved into the cup de sac they basically cemented four wives. Where epic they put another wife? None if the wives will love together. Put Keri in a literal fog house in the backyard?

reply

Meri has plenty of extra space!!?

reply

They have said more than once they don't share a house ever. It's one thing that makes this work or at least tolerable. Their old house was one house but they all had their own apartments. No way is Keri going to allow a new wife into her house.

reply

I was joking!! ?

reply

Why do emojis show up as question marks on this board!?

reply

I think the entire Meri fiasco has thrown him for a loop. I doubt he'll be looking to add another wife any time soon. A few years ago it sounds like he wanted a few more children but he's made some comments this season that show he's okay not having any more children so I think he's done.

reply

I have a feeling that if he married a young good looking wife at this point, she would be an only wife.

The other wives would vote him off the island (not to mention the cul-de-sac).

reply

I used to think no more wives, but, history suggests that Kody's decisions can be radically swayed by TLC producers. Had it not been for the show there probably wouldn't have been his 4th wife (Robyn). Compare their lives from pre-show to now and it isn't that hard to believe Kody's pea brain might process it that more wives = $ucess...

reply

Robyn was already in his life before the show started and was already expected to be the fourth wife. They scripted it into the show.

reply

The pilot, where we meet Kody, his three wives, and his children was filmed a year before the 2nd half hour episode where we met Robyn. The original pilot wasn't accepted by TLC. When Kody and the production company came back a year later with an entirely new plot; e.g., the new wife he was courting, TLC picked up the show.

After the pilot was rejected, Kody and the production company went looking for a wife.

reply

Exactly! IF TLC pressured Kody to add another wife( as opposed to canceling the show) I believe he just might do it.

reply

I think he would to save the show to continue the lifestyle. Most of the women are unhappy with him it appears and he is such a child. The show is so done. Unless major stuff happens its done sooner than later... I think he would take on another wife for the show regardless of comments made.

reply

The show had great ratings when they made up crap - now they have real drama - Sam, weddings, more graduations... Kody does not need to get married again for this show to be successful.

reply

Honestly, I don't know how much more this show has left in it. I still feel most of it now is producer generated drama(Meri/Janelle relationship, Meri/Mariah relationship, Mykelti bamboozling her parents for a wedding) and isn't what actually happens in their lives.

I also really wonder if The Browns are really that vested in still doing show.

reply

I think the Browns are like most reality families - they'll stay on the show until they're kicked off. The show is more produced, but I think that happens with all reality shows. The Browns will be on for as long as the ratings are good I think.

reply

I just looked up ratings and for the week of Dec 5-11 and from what I looked at Sister Wives didn't break the top 25.............

reply

You have to look at how many viewers they had - cable shows are looked at differently than other shows. Did you see how many 1+, 3+, 7+ day viewers they had? That's what they look at as far as success.

reply

Yes they do look at that but more emphasis is on the first time run because of advertising money. DVR is also looked at now.

reply

It used to be the initial broadcast was the prime number they looked at but now that people watch TV differently, they judge a show by DVR, online viewing which I think is back for Sister Wives and also overseas viewers which they won't find out about right away. Their last finale was 3.4 million +3. That is phenomenal. I can't even imagine what it will be this Sunday when Maddie gets married. They had 1.5M this last Sunday for live viewers. That's great considering football and The Walking Dead.

reply

When we DVR a show does it count the same as someone watching the show when it's aired?

reply

It doesn't count the same, but they count it.

reply

Thank you!

reply

It only counts if you have a Nielsen box or if you are a Comcast customer. Nielsen does a 100% sample of Comcast customers. It is built into your receiver/dvr.

reply

I'd forgotten avout the Nielsen boxes! Thank you!

reply

Are you sure about that??
