Were Caleb and Madison living together before they were married?
I can't tell?
shareso what if they were? This is 2016 not 1950.
shareIn the Brown household it's 1950.
sharethat's true....Kody is delusional if he thinks Madison and Mykelti haven't already done the deed.......
shareI don't know about Mykelti - she and Tony kissed like brother & sister, but Caleb & Maddie kissed like a couple in love.
shareOh Caleb was definitely hittin that lol. This is 2016 lol. And good for them if they were.
shareTony looked like a complete slob and very feminine with that Rosie O Donnell haircut for their wedding. The man couldn't even manage to get a haircut or even gel it down and make it look neat.
shareI've been wondering the same thing. My guess is that yes, after she moved to Montana, they were living together. If they weren't, I think it would have been addressed in the show. Mykelti's living arrangements were made clear, she was living with a couple that they knew.
shareIt would make no sense for Maddie & Caleb to move a few months before their marriage to 2 different places. That was just common sense. I don't think Mykelti was living with the couple that owned the pawn shop. I think she lives in an apartment they owned.
shareOnly reason I would even question whether they were living together is the religious angle. Cody and Janelle would certainly not approve, and Caleb's family seems pretty religious also. I don't know if Caleb's religious affiliation has been addressed, but I would think LDS. Maybe someone on the board who remembers these details would have the answer.
shareCaleb's father is a minister with The Church of Christ.
shareIs that a Mormon affiliation? Evangelical? I just don't know much religion....
shareNo. As far as I understand they are autonomous Christian branch, they don't identify themselves as anything but Christians, thinking terms like Protestant are not following the word of God. Or so I understand.
shareThe Brown's son has been living with his girlfriend for quite some time. It would make no sense to get 2 different places when Maddie & Caleb were to be married in about 3 months.
shareAgreed, two places would not make sense. One could live with one of his relatives until the wedding, if religious beliefs preclude cohabitation before marriage.
shareI don't think the kids necessarily have those religious beliefs - their parents do. Maybe Maddie did live somewhere else until they got married? Who knows? However I don't think it's that big a deal for the kids - it's for their parents.
shareI've read on other boards that some people think Caleb and Maddie's wedding was a reenactment of a ceremony that took place months previously-before Caleb's mother died. It could explain them cohabiting and Maddie's larger than dates pregnant belly.
Apparently Caleb's mom really hoped to make it until the wedding. When it became apparent that she would be unable they could have had a quick, private wedding.
I hope it's true. I feel bad thinking about Caleb's mom not seeing her son wed.
That would make sense. When Janelle showed up to Maddie's house before the wedding I noticed as Maddie was letting her in the house that the wall behind her had big initials C & M. That's what made me think they were already living together.
shareI noticed that too (M & C on the wall) but I just assumed they were living together. It would be stupid to move to another town to 2 different places when you're getting married in a few months.
shareI noticed the initials too, that's why I asked the question in the first place. As far as Church of Christ goes, that's how I was raised and my parents still attend. No affiliation with any other churches. Any questions just ask. I will say cohabiting before marriage is a big no-no lol! I would know, I'm doing it. ;)
shareI don't belong to or attend any church, but I would think that most religions frown on that, some way more than others, but it's 2016. If 40% of babies are born from mothers who are not married, I'm going out on a limb and say a lot of people are living together without the benefit of marriage.
shareThis might shed a little light:

Caleb and I moved to Worland after his mom was diagnosed. We wanted to be closer.
