Wow Mykelti and Tony bamboozled her family

I was surprised that the wives took it so well when she tricked them into paying for her honeymoon. The family wanted to delay the wedding so they could do something nice for her and she goes and uses that against them. She even said that she wanted to have the wedding in August because they wanted to go somewhere beachy for the honeymoon and then basically she says she can't even pay for it anyway. I thought that was underhanded and shows that she is really immature. If they couldn't afford a honeymoon then they should have chosen to have a long engagement themselves to save for the honeymoon. Not to mention she then talks about the millions of people coming to the wedding when before she said she wanted something small and simple. She was lying the whole time to get her way. She's a brat. I so would have not taken that if I were her family. I would have said here is how much you get for your wedding. You have to budget and figure it out. And if you get married in August then sorry but you probably won't get everything you want but plus side have a tiny wedding and use the rest of the dash for your honeymoon.

You pointed out some inconsistencies which are interesting. Was it Mykelti or was that produced for the show? Because it is odd that it went from a small outdoor wedding in August to a 400 person wedding in December. Was it Mykelti being calculating or was that part of the show? Or was it Tony? So many things to question - like her just popping out with December 17th? It seemed rehearsed. I wonder?

I hope it was the show, because if she is really that calculating and manipulating, I'd tell her to stick her "condition" where the sun doesn't shine.

Tony did say he wanted a big wedding. Generous of him to throw himself a big wedding on someone else's dime. He sure does play fast and loose with Kody's money. Four hundred people?

I didn't understand the Honeymoon thing either. She said she could not afford it in August or December, so why did that have anything to do with when the wedding was? She couldn't afford it herself either way.

Is Tony's family paying for anything? As far as we know Mykelti's parents are paying for a 400 person wedding, the bridal shower and the honeymoon. I know that Tony's parents gave Mykelti a bridal shower by themselves as well but that doesn't cost that much, especially the way they seemed to have done it.

I know Mykelti is to blame for a lot of this but I can totally see Tony pushing her into it, like your family has 4 mansions, they are rich, convince them or trick them in to paying for everything.

It is disgusting.

Here's something which is a little off topic, but Janelle brought up that Hunter and Garrison couldn't be at the wedding in August which I thought was a great idea to persuade Mykelti. However, I just checked Janelle's Instagram and Garrison went back to his unit yesterday. I checked it twice to make sure of the date. So, Garrison couldn't get leave for his sister's wedding?

What I thought was kinda funny was Mykelti talking about having a beach honeymoon and not being able to do that in December. There are no beaches anywhere in the world in December?

I live in SWFL & people are out on the beach swimming in December. Meanwhile this whole Mykelti wedding fiasco has quickly devolved into the absurd. They don't act like they are in love on camera & the family acts like they don't like either of them really. It's so weird.

Yes there are beaches all year around, but you would have to go further. A tropical beach is far more expensive then going somewhere in the us. A beach vacation is a lot more attractive in summer months, even in Florida, then in December. Now if her parents want yo foot the bill and send them some where like Belize which is far more tropical, December is not an issue.

Hawaii is really not that expensive if you fly out from the west coast & they do have some experience going there.

Not that expensive is relative when you are yung and neither of you are making a lot of money. The point is if they are paying for their honeymoon, an affordable honeymoon beach destination is hard to come in December.

They could go to Miami - it's 89 today. But considering where they live and & their cars seem to be on autopilot to California, they probably could get a better deal going to Hawaii, all of which is moot because I assume Kody is going to pay for their honeymoon or if we see it on the show, TLC is paying for it

Sure,I would have offered to pay for the honeymoon too. I would have said, "You two have a condition? So do I. I will pay for your honeymoon provided we use Groupon for the whole thing, I will drive you to your hotel to save money on the limo and your honeymoon will be in Las Vegas."
