It grew on me as I watched it. Worth it for the dinner scene alone.
The movie has its flaws but there is no need for me to rehearse them here because they are discussed on other threads. Despite that I think it ultimately works. The dinner scene among all of the friends on the ski trip was pretty good.
Should Westfeldt ever decide to write a biting drama à la David Mamet (or Woody Allen) she might have one in her! I think this film almost wants to be a straight drama with more of that sort of frank, cutting dialogue.
