Good premise.
Bad execution. Unexciting actors. Mediocre and unfunny dialogue, despite the SNL alumni. Overall the film felt like a rejected Sex and the City episode.
Humans are slow to pick up so here's a puppet show.

The film has great premise. It sparks curiosity and starts conversation. Surprisingly, it's more than you'd expect from a rom-com. It's smart, unconventional, and heartfelt. The story is a daring comedy, one that questions the nature of friendship, family, and love, and I thought it was done perfectly. The SNL alumni delivered terrific performances and it's very refreshing to see them in something different. This film allowed them to showcase their range in believable characters. I was entertained and moved. Jennifer Westfeldt wrote, directed, produced, and starred in this film and it's remarkable on ALL levels. She gave an outstanding performance and her characters is one you will root for. The story is charming, relate-able, and if you are interested in a great modern romance, you should watch this film.
