This film makes you think about the idea of family in a new way. I'm glad that the romance worked out in the end for Julie and Jason Honestly, the idea of marriage and family in this story made sense. I know of so many divorced couples and broken families, what is wrong with putting the same commitment into someone you really know and trust, like your best friend?

Thank you, Jennifer for bringing light to this topic and important issue. Thanks for sharing a sweet story about the other possibilities. Why so many are pressured into doing it 'the right way' and traditional way only to end up all wrong for them, is way to common in modern day society. These actors must be proud for not just creating a great film but one I think is important for some of us who are suffering with similar issues. This film is refreshing, insightful, and charming! Great job to this productions' cast and crew and Jennifer Westfeldt for your thought and vision.

I completely agree. I'm glad to see writers out there that are taking chances and sharing their refreshing perspective. We need to realize our society is diverse, there are options, and there are different stories to share. Writers like Jennifer Westfeldt are great for that. She writes in a way that is though provoking, inspiring, witty, and entertaining. The films are relatabe, the characters are amusing, the stories are touching, and the conflicts are real. I enjoy that her writing is funny, smart, and sexy! and she's got delightful performances to go with it.

The theme of this story is about love and family and it's told, discovered, and explored in the most interesting way. Despite the issue in romance there was unconditional love and deep down there was trust. These are the things you need to build a solid foundation for relationship. Relationship will come with challenges and you can either let it change or fall apart or try to make it work.

The supporting cast was amazeballs and so was Jen and Adam Scott! I saw on another thread that she shot the movie in like 25 days?!! I think I've heard that before in her interviews. I'm always amazed by her talents. I adore her acting and creativity!
