horrible, horrible, horrible Jennifer Westfeldt

this woman totally ANNIHILATED this film. i actually enjoyed most parts of the film. it was funny and it had some nice depth to it as well (especially seeing it is in the "romantic comedy" genre).

but by dog, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO LOOK AT THAT LEAD ACTRESS. she made me cringe all over, time and again.

it was the worst in that final scene.

what is up with her upper lip???

and her skin around her eyes???

something is so wrong in that face but I don't know what??!!!

I have never been so revolted by a female actress ever. Not even as much as that Lisa character in six feet under (and DANG she was annoying).

it is as if this woman is way too old looking for her years - aged prematurely, and then decided to get botox AND facelift and it was botched-up.

geeez. it is so sorry they put her in the lead. could've been a totally different movie if she wasn't in it - a much better film, which could've won prizes, in my opinion.

Her character was just so blah. The only time I felt for her in the entire movie was when she was skipping home after hooking up with Kurt. I liked everything else about the movie... just not Julie.

Her face was distracting, I was trying to make myself stop thinking about it but that wasn't working all that well haha

It was really distracting, wasn't it? I kept thinking "What is wrong with her face????" Way too much injectibles.

Lol i dont mind the actress at all, she seems like someone who is possibly a nice woman in real life and, being a female director she has my highest respect (even if her films aren't brilliant) but i must admit - her lips are horrible!

And i feel bad for saying that, cos thats just vain. But yeah, her lips really are unattractive. she reminds me of the british actress Zoe Wanamaker from My Family.

I was distracted by that plastic surgery cat face as well. I think it's sad to see how women that age damage themself and yet think it actually looks good.

I too found myself distracted by her face. It looks like she's definitely done something to it. It's too bad, because she used to be very naturally pretty. Not gorgeous or anything, but pretty. Now it just looks like she went overboard with fillers or something, and she can barely move her mouth. Too bad.

I was really distracted with her definite voluntary movement of her "new lips" over her teeth. She was cool and a sweetheart though.

I thought her acting was actually pretty good in this. I was just so distracted by her face that I kept getting pulled out of the story.

Too much Botox? Her skin looks like its made of plastic. You can see this in the first scene when they're talking on the phone in bed and she lifts both eyebrows up. Her forehead shrivels up like one of those Siamese cats. Its really nasty and u feel bad for her rather than admire

Using her as the lead actress was a good move. She looks like an everyday well to do mother in her early 40's. I've see a lot of women who look at act like this character, it was pretty spot on.
