Closing thoughts on the show and the board

I think I first started posting on this particular board around Season 2 or 3 when Brandi Glanville came on to the infect the show lol. That was a lively time for the board. During season 3 especially, I was on the opposite side of most of the posters, defending Adrienne against Brandi's mean, personal attacks. Since then, I've pretty much been in the mainstream and I enjoyed conversing with you guys about these ladies' shenanigans.

The past few seasons, the hype has died down a bit. This might be just a natural course of things or it might be due to the show not being as interesting. I get the feeling the Housewives franchise is petering out in general. I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa V or Kyle don't leave to go explore their other ventures after this season. The writing seems to be on the wall for this franchise. If so, it was good while it lasted I suppose. 

Whatever the case, even if the show is not as discussion-worthy as it was in its earlier days, I will miss having this forum to check in with you guys and see if our opinions on the characters mesh or not. Maybe we'll meet again. 

Special shoutout to Zoogfan, TiogaTimes, PerfectLover, (will add to list if I remember other names.)

Same ol', same ol'! They went from Yo's illness/Munchausen to Kim's sobriety or lack thereof! It's amazing with people who're supposed to have such fabulous lives; spending it gossiping about 1 person for weeks!  

Yep. These women have so much that they have to invent things to complain about. I don't begrudge them for what they have (I wish I was so lucky), but they are so melodramatic about things that don't really matter.

Having been here since Season one.. Camille was a favorite person to talk about back then! I hated Kyle for the way she treated Kim in the first season. I thought she was "Vyle" and called her so. I feel like I've gotten to know these ladies in a way, and I'm happy to say, that I now see what Kyle has gone through over the years with Kim. I've gone from hating her, to actually liking her quite a bit.

It has been fun discussing these ladies on these boards and I'm going to miss it, even though the show is lacking some of the pizzazz that it used to have, I still enjoy reading the boards.

Take care everyone.. guess I have to get a life now. ;)

Maybe poker's just not your game, Ike. I know, let's have a spelling contest.

Chiligirl, you saw the light!  I've been a Kyle fan since the first season and felt like she got ALOT of crap. She's not completely innocent and has had her own bad moments of course, but I think she's a good person who means well.

I've been reading the board since season 1 and posted between seasons 2 and 5. There were many heated conversations, but I enjoyed them.

As for the show itself, I do feel like this franchise is tired and has been for awhile now. I feel the same way about New Jersey and the O.C. shows too.

It's true! I feel like I really see now that she's had to deal with a lot, and she still tries to keep the peace (for the most part) and is a good person. It probably helps that I told her on Instagram to not listen to the haters about her hair and she tagged me and threw me an emoji kiss. I think that was the turning point. LOL.

LOL. That was nice of you to say that to her and for her to respond. 
