New message boards to meet up

I've been posting at this site called Sitcoms Online for almost 16 years. It's all tv, all the time. There's also a section for Chit Chat forums for Politics, Music, Sports and Movies. There's tape and dvd trading, reviews, etc.

I suggest giving it a shot. It's well run. The trolls are run out on a rail lickity split. I should know as I'm been a moderator there forever. The owner is a great guy who's very accessible and listens to member's issues.

Pimp your site that has 22 members somewhere else, not on my thread where I'm pimping my site that has 65,000.

sometimes too many members is not as conducive to discussion. The reason these boards are popular with the regulars is because they have some sense of familiarity with the relatively small number of people regularly posting.

I would rather read and exchange comments with the 50 regulars from here on freeforums.net than thousands of people on the other site.

There may be a lot of members, but there are tons of forums. There's still a quaint feeling because most forums have a relatively small number of posters. I've been a member since 2001. There's lots to do there, blogs, dvd reviews, tape trading, etc. A look see doesn't hurt anybody.

Claiming to be a mod and then posting

is not really a great way to incentivize people to join. js

No reason to be a b|tch. More reason for someone NOT to go to "your" site which A) is atrociously formatted, B) is atrociously designed, and C) obviously has b|tch moderators like you.

I'll stick to this message board which may have less members, but is more tightknit and respectful.

I just registered! A little confusing though. Is there a specific site or just one site with tons of different threads?
