Seriously, what's the point in going to these reunions? If you've lost touch with certain people, there's probably a good reason for it. The people you really care about, you are still in contact with. In my experience, it's just better to leave the past in the past.
shareFor me I wanted to go to my 5 year because a lot had changed physically for me. In high school I was kind of an ugly duckling. I lost weight, had my crooked spine fixed and got my teeth straightened. I really didn't want that to be how people last remembered me. So that's why it was important for me.

It's still fun to show up to see what people are up to.
Doing the whole 'travelling for 2 hours' thing is a little ridiculous for me. I think if you're local to where it's being held then go ahead and show up for a little bit for *beep* and giggles.
But it does look like a fun time.
