Didn't really know what to expect from this film

But what I thought was everything but this, 10 years wasn't that great of a movie I'm all for drama, comedy, and even dramedies but this wasn't that close to either of those categories. Great cast though

I thought it was pretty good. There were plenty of flaws, but I still liked it. The cast all looked too old, some of the humor was forced at times (Chris Pratt I'm looking at you), and a few actors performances just felt out of place. The guy playing Scott for example.

But I thought it had plenty of laughs throughout and I liked the story. It didn't take the easy way out and just have the former high school sweethearts really just longing for one another.

I totally agree with you and the "funny parts" were forced but during the credits that was when I actually laughed but other than that I was like eh. It was more like "the one I could of ended up with", it was an alright film, I wont be watching it again lol

I didn't feel that way about the majority of the jokes, just a few of them, from Cully's character in particular. He was funny at times and the definition of trying to hard the next.

I didn't care for the Scott character at all. He seemed like a nice guy, the performance just seemed a little weak to me.

Initially, I felt Lynn Collins performance was forced, but that's only because the character had to keep up her popular persona, so it made sense.

I really like that Jake and Mary simply wanted to see if the other was ok. I liked that they still cared about one another, but not in the, "I want to be with you way."
