Very depressing movie

All throughout the movie it just seemed to have one depressing scene after another. The family with young children, the parents not really happy to be parents. The so-called friends in this movie didn't really seem as thought they were ever close friends and the binge drinking to cover up their disappointments in life really brought the film down. I did like the song and I thought the chemistry between the singer and the redhead was pretty good but overall what a soul sucking film.
.....and this was billed as a comedy?!!

I think the movie was very realistic. We think the world is going to be this open plain when we're in high school. The years go on and things may or may not turn out how we planned. Great film.

True. Actually for most people, it doesn't turn out like it was planned. However, that doesn't make life any less special.

High school reunions are like that ...you're half expecting an older version of the same kids, but life ends up taking its toll. it's kind of depressing seeing your youth slip away so quickly and you realize all those people you spent your entire childhood with have changed so much, look so different, are gone forever or don't really care so much for "the good old days"

I watched it for the second time yesterday, and its true its not a "funny comedy" but the cast play there part so well, the chemistry is great, it does feel realistic in a way. Sure if you want some off the hook laugh about friends partying up, watch American Pie or I hope they serve beer in hell, movies like those, wich are among my favorites.

But this one is a different story, a different view, and i didn't felt depressed by it personally. It does show life can't remain like when your in high school, people you think live a great life actually have there problems, but thats life.

I dunno, i really got into this movie. Its a keeper for me.

Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
