Granted I haven't had my 10 year yet but compared to other high school reunion films I've seen, this one came off as the most realistic. The cast and acting was great, the story lines were believable. And I gotta say I loved the ending. The fact that Tatum stays with Dewan and doesn't go back to Dawson made it a good ending and not cheesy. The last scene with Tatum and Dewan in the hotel was great.

I completely agree! Love the acting. Love the maturity and complexity of the characters. Wasn't cheesy at all like American Reunion. Very mature yet fun film

These Hollywood movies about older folks are more "gritty" than the typical high school stuff. While I like the idea of art as aspirational, I never understood why youth are steered to such a sterile & sugary vision of life. Turning away from that is one thing I've enjoyed about growing up.
