Only saw a little of this revolting movie..

near the end, I found it online and wanted to get through some of the worst parts so I could know when to look away or mute it, and whether I even COULD get through it and would want to see the entire thing. Somehow I did manage to watch, more or less, most of the ending from the time the daughter desperately released the feral woman to the ridiculously over the top, both in gore and realism, ending. That gross female-freak of an animal who killed the teacher and was more brainless than the wild dogs she lived with had me briefly pitying her, and more often wanting to put a bullet through her head and end her misery. The poor stupid little girl, crazy and mentally deficient just like most of the rest of the family, staring trustingly up at the blood-spattered woman who she calmly decides to go with, without any further curiosity as to her parents' whereabouts. When her ugly mouth disgustingly moved as she tasted whatever nasty thing she got from the woman's hand, I had a sudden desire to see every last character except for the pregnant daughter killed off; seriously, I got new understanding as to why the Old Testament had so many records of God killing people!

And the horrible music? The rock songs I heard near the end weren't terrible, but their placements were; the song about death that the headcases who made this decided to play right when four people died (the teacher, the dad and brother, then the mom) at first seemed strange and obnoxious in its timing, and made it look like the horrible deaths it played around weren't even taken seriously by the filmmakers. The one after that, playing during the sickeningly senseless scene of the woman bonding with the child and daughter was also awful. But the credits song was the worst, because it really was a bad song; ugly low voice just rasping away during the credits. Plus, the style of it was misplaced; believe it or not, credit music can be important too, and I didn't notice how much until recently. This movie's credit music was misplaced and obnoxious in a similar manner to the earlier songs, belying the very serious and horrible things we just saw like the movie doesn't even take itself seriously. Thanks for nothing, writers.

Cool, bro.

Due to the lack of moderators, trolls can ruin the IMDB message boards. Don't feed them.

Thanks, though I'm a sis. I still have mostly the same opinion of the characters, but..not entirely of the film. I love two of the songs in the soundtrack, including the one I'd criticized that played around the time the woman broke free, "Time to Die". Really listening to it shows that it's oddly beautiful, and quite serious, in its way so it's not totally out of place playing in the movie. I'd still change some parts and found some stuff over the top, but overall it's..an impressive piece of work among other things.

Ok.

I wanted to at least give a non-trollish response. I thought the movie was okay. The music and some of the writing (for instance, the son telling his friends why he couldn't hang out one day- really random and not needed) turned me off big time. But I was interested, at least, and rooting for The Woman the entire film. It was also well shot and the acting for the most part was really solid. Especially that of The Woman. I was digesting the film and thinking about how cool it ended when the post-credits scene came up and almost ruined it. Almost. But I still liked it. 7/10.

Me too on a lot of those points, Ryan. The credits song was..ugly, and the movie went overboard in violence, but it was quite well-done.

Music was awful. I was like to nap while watching a movie and every time one of these screeching rock songs would play It would wake me up. Movie was pitiful anyway
