An INCREDIBLY dangerous thing to say. It doesn't matter how tolerant you think you are to alcohol, your reactions and judgement are still impaired.
When he confronts his ex at the party and he goes to drive drunk her new boyfriend tries to stop him but she says let him go he drives better like that. I'm NOT saying this is an excuse to drive drunk or make it okay I'm just saying what was said in the movie.
