The found footage angle is just a format that's been utilized as a horror sub genre tool for over a decade now. If its not your cup of tea, why don't you stick to watching whatever is your preference which obviously isn't the "found footage" scheme.
Yeah how dare you express an opinion in an open forum your worse than Hitler.
shareStupid (and unoriginal) post.
I always wonder how it's possible so many people make the IMDb message boards explode with negative reviews of movies that haven't even come out yet.
Can't you just watch untill AFTER you actually saw the movie so your review would at least make some sense?
Found footage is an established genre, not just a gimmick that is used when film makers want to be original.
I hope there will be many more found footage movies, because at least they offer different, more realistic subjects and perspectives on the horror genre than all the polished "five-teens-who-all-happen-to-look-like-twenty-something-super-models-on-a-road-trip-get-killed-off-one-by-one" type of Hollywood crap, which is why i almost lost faith in the horror genre until i saw The Cabin in the Woods, VHS and Sinister.
