Amazon Instant Watcher Link?

The link to Amazon goes to the wrong movie, it goes to some poetry show called The Bay:

The Tampa Bay area of Florida is home to a community of artists - amateurs and professionals, children and adults - who express themselves through spoken word poetry. This documentary illuminates them as they showcase their craft.

Let us know what you think of the flick. I watched it last night and really liked it. Im not a found footage fan really but this one was pretty damn cool. Not as gimmicky as the rest and you feel like it could really happen.

I haven't liked too many either, a lot of bandwagon jumpers, understandably, low cost and big payout, even when done poorly.

I've liked:

Paranormal Activity 1, diurector's cut with the cop ending, the sound engineering was real good, but they screwed up the ending with the theatrical release to leave it open for a sequel by tacking on a very cliche ending.

Grave Encounters, probably my favorite found footage film, starts out as a fun parody of the show Ghost Adventures and gets pretty crazy with solid pacing, nice plot twists, good build up and burn.

Grave Encounters 2 builds on the first but fails in some major ways, poor beginning, bad preparation to plot twists, lacked atmosphere the first one was dripping with.

I think V/H/S is my favorite so far.
I thought GE2 was more fun then the first but I wont hold it against you. I just thought it was more fun then GE1. I just watched the lost coast tapes the other night and that was just mediocre at best.

I like PA3 the best so far. I still haven't seen part 4 though.

Ahhh yes, VHS was really good, and the stories had the potential to be made into full length films. I particularly enjoyed the first and last stories.

Those were my favorites too. I was really surprised at how much I didnt like Ti Wests segment.

Not a fan of Ti West myself, I thought Innkeepers was a waste of time, Second Honeymoon as well, House of the Devil was decent but not great, so in my mind he's like 1 for 3 if I'm being generous.

Alot of people didnt get the ending of Innkeepers. I really dug it personally just for the ending and a bit of sara paxton never hurts either. House of the Devil and The Roost are good fun. I even liked Cabin Fever 2.

I don't recall if I got the ending or not, but it takes more than an ending to make a movie :)

True I just thought it was very cool. I liked the whole movie but the ending was awesome IMO

Fair enough, I've heard others have liked it, and some like me didn't. I was hoping I would like it since I love ghost stories, maybe I should watch it again, maybe I was distracted, I dunno.

Up to you man. I thought it was just a bit below HOTD in quality but still a good movie nonetheless.
