Pretty good creepfest, could've been better...

I just finished watching The Bay, I rather enjoyed it. It was quick, interesting, well acted and creepy. I liked that it wasn't shot in the shakey cam style and I liked that it was supposed to be from all types of video sources, not one person running around with one camera.

As far as the negatives, like others have said, how did the entire town fall ill at the exact same time? Also on the same day? Was it the 700 people that died all happen to drink the tap water during the same period? I know many people don't drink tap, they prefer bottled.

If there were full grown isopods in the water, why weren't more people attacked before the teens were eaten, again on the 4th of July. The so called full grown ones were shown to be about 4 to 5 inches long, yet they kept showing an archival picture of an adult being about 2 feet long.

Last point, why did the isopods act differently at different points? For example, the cops saw the isopods emerging and devouring the people in the house they stopped at. It seemed the people were being eaten on the inside and then the outside, once the isopods emerged. However, at the hospital and on the street, the dead people were a little bloodied, but there were no signs of the isopods. There was the one guy by the fountain, but there should've been isopods crawling all over the streets and hospital.

I enjoyed the movie for the most part, but there were some things that should've been explained a little better.
