I enjoy horror movies and don't have high expectations going in, but wow! This was horrible!
Why would everyone get sick on the same day from a parasite? If it was because of the water plant, then why did the guy on the boat die too? (the reporter talks about how he contracted the parasite swimming in the bay) They should not have all gotten sick during the same 24 hour period.
Plus, there are no steroids in chicken. They grow fast because they are bred to grow fast.

There were some problems with this movie. One of the things I didn't like is that they said nuclear waste was a contributing factor. I just rolled my eyes at that one and pretended I didn't hear it.

Overall I liked the movie because it's discussing a real problem with the Chesapeake Bay. The problem isn't violent parasites but a revolting level of pollution and loss of environment.

My biggest problem with it was that they said the parasite replaced the fishes tongue......fish don't have tongues

Most fishes do have a 'tongue'. Fish tongues however do not resemble the muscular tongues of humans. The tongue of a fish is formed from a fold in the floor of the mouth.
