"gonads". That part annoyed the hell out of me....
That's an actual medical term...

Yes it is the technical medical term, just like penis and vagina.
But for another reason the line doesn't a 100 % make sense. The gonads are the organs that produce the gametes (eggs and sperms), and in males are the balls (testes) and females the ovaries. And the different gonads are in pretty much two different places on males and females, as the male gonads are hanging below the crotch and the ovaries are a bit way up almost towards the stomach. But whatever, all I'm saying is that the male and female gonads are anatomically on two different places even if they have the same use and the same embryological genesis.
