I actually liked this movie. I mean I don't think they even tried to base it on one of the books. I don't know why, I mean there is legit like a hundred of em. And I've read more of them than I'd like to admit.

Sorry, but Morgan Freeman was better in the role.

I wholeheartedly agree. But even when those movies came out he was nearly to old. They couldn't bring him back. And it's not like it was iconic enough of a character to just retire, like say Indiana Jones. But I agree Madea was bad casting. Killed a potentially profitable franchise. I still liked the movie though.
