his wife is killed by Picasso, I thought that was a great scene with very good acting from Perry. I'm shocked that people dissing his performance in this film. He wasn't as great as Freeman was but he was still pretty damn good IMHO. What did you think of his acting in that scene?

I didn't think Perry did a bad job like everyone says. Yeah, maybe he didn't fit the part perfectly but he didn't really mess up the film it was more the plot holes and lack of character development. He acted quite well.
Agreed. It was a dumb movie, but he played the part rather well. I never pictured Alex Cross of the books to be a Morgan Freeman type anyhow.
