Yeah he dodged a bullet here. If they could ever make an Alex Cross movie that doesn't suck, I think Idirs Elba would be good as John Sampson.

No, he won't be. Daniel Craig is signed for 5 Bond movies so (assuming Craig doesn't extend his contract) the first non-Craig Bond movie will be 2019/2020, at which point Elba will be pushing 50. Too old for a new Bond.

With him in it, it would have been a far better movie.

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

IMO Idris Elba is a better casting choice than Tyler Perry...
