Compare it to the following movies

Quality-wise, it does not hold a candle to the aforementioned films. It is quite hilarious, though.

But it is way too gross and crude. A tad too much, IMO.

Better than Due Date and Hangover, about on par with we're the millers.

haven't seen Due Date, but:

Horrible Bosses and Superbad are way superior to this movie, in my opinion.
The Hangover is about the same level as this one.
We're the Millers is worse than this one.

to put it in perspective, i thought this movie was watchable but rather boring, with only a handful of funny moments and the story started out good but got weird fast when the whole pimp-thing started. could've lived without Jennifer Anniston's character, in my opinion.

The Hangover: Pretty Funny
Due Date: Funny.
Superbad: Ok, lame in parts, funny in parts.
We're the Millers: Hilarious!

It was better than Horrible Bosses and pretty much tied with those other hilarious movies mentioned.

Better than DUe Date, not quite as good as the others. However, the comparison to those is a little unfair as they are some of the best comedies of the last decade (excluding Due Date)
