I was very surprised they couldn't find a stronger use for Olivia Williams who was quite an outspoken character during the film. She was locked inside the room but we never saw her death...She was punched and kicked but I don't believe her suit was ever penetrated, she could have easily killed off the one zombie that was in the room with her.

For all we know she could very well still be alive.

Zombie:

Check out the sequence as Campbell heads for the Lander after killing Lane.

He identifies Dalby, suit on, but faceplate hole'd. Then there is another suited figure with helmet removed - check the hairstyle, I'd say it was Kim. Then two suited figures, one kneeling over the other, probably the Lander crew, right? And then the final suitless form... Harrington or Marko?

If they have 'limited time'; in Martian atmosphere, as I surmised in another thread (because of Campbell's observations) then 'suitless/dessicated' is probably Harrington, as Marko would have died first, having been first infected (right? Brunel is still strapped to the table in the dome)

But that's just me - Kim was toast soon as she got locked in the room with Harrington. Remember: Campbell beat the daylights out of him, and he ~still~ chased Campbell down the connecting tube and into the dome to corner Kim! Harrington only had to puncture her suit...

I think she had another movie to do.
