What the hell kind of alarm was that?
Yeah, there's a great idea in an emergency! An alarm that kills the main lights and starts strobing everything in amber and red. Jesus, this was a bad flick.

Was I the only one who thought of this?

I'm so glad someone else thought the same lol
shareHahaha my thoughts exactly.
Shouldn't an alarm alert and help people during emergency situations, not make it more dangerous!?

Agreed! I turned to my hubby and said the last thing you want in an emergency situation is flashing yellow lights in darkness. You'll want to see what you're doing and what you're dealing with.
shareLol. Thought the same thing. Clearly a ripoff of Alien when the same thing happens except not red but white strobes. And it was much scarier!

Ditto.
Not to mention lost radio contact (the radio ALWAYS breaks)
Crew gets picked off one by one.
Someone has to travel to remote location to activate the "save the day" switch.
Same as Aliens, I Robot, Sky Captain, Jurassic Park, etc, etc, etc...
maybe that was a zombie alarm to confused the stupid crew and make it easier for them to be caught, oh no this film was made by a zombie, now it makes sense.
she always did enjoy a good squeeze.
Just saw official movie clips of it and wondered the same thing. Stupid!!
