Green Eyes' and Diabla's Warm, Gentle Sides

Toward the end Green Eyes and Diabla got warm and fuzzy, up-close and personal with a couple of the teens. This was a mistake. It may have been a good idea to insert heart-to heart chats as part of the program, but it should have been left to others exclusively, because it dilutes the fear. You don't want the teens to come away thinking inmates like Green Eyes and Diabla aren't so bad after all. You want them to leave and stay terrified.

What Diabla and Green Eyes did was great. They're *beep* yet understanding, they're trying to STOP these girls from coming to prison. They have no idea what path they're taking and they're really trying to inform and help them.

It seemed to work for most of them except the 17 year old.

Yeah she can't control herself and has a temper issue. I still don't think her mom should have reported her for violating her probation.

so true. She's the one they should have kept for 72 hours. I think all the others learned their lesson....but who knows...

You're right. Instead her mom should have just kicked her monkey ass out on the streets until she learned to show some respect.

A lot of the reason most of the teens are in trouble in the first place is because the parents have been letting them get away with too much...trying to be there friends or what have you. She obviously didn't take the prison visit seriously, so maybe that's where she wants to be. So, I think her mom should have called. She not only has a nasty mouth towards her mom, but she hits her too. If she thinks she's so big and bad, then she needs to stomp with the big dogs for a while. You'll always meet your match.

The most shocking thing was when Diabla mentioned that she had a kid. I just can't imagine her being with a man...I can't imagine her having a vagina at all, tbh...

I am so with you. I know by no means am I close to being a beauty queen but when she said she had a kid I was like...wtf...who would have sex with 'her'. But who knows what she use to look like, I'm sure prison has harden her, plus those tats didn't help.
