I've been thinking about this for quite a while and I'm going to be honest: This show should be cancelled.

Why? It's because I realized that after watching seasons 1 and 2, it's the same thing over and over again: A group of kids are part of a program where inmates berate and tell them not to go to prison then a couple months later, we see a glimpse of the kids who have changed or not changed there ways.

Sooner or later, the viewers are going to be like: "Hey, we're watching the same episode over and over again!".

Another reason why this show should be cancelled is because the show is documenting a program that's both *beep* and doesn't help kids get better but instead causes harm to the kids.

For example: In the original Scared Straight! movie from the 70's, one of the kids in that movie claimed that the program changed his life. A couple years ago, he was sent to prison for shoplifting along with killing and raping his next-door neighbor.

The creators and Arnold Shapiro probably forgot that not all of these kids will continue being good people.

I bet you right now that the creators, Arnold Shapiro, and the executives at A&E are not giving a *beep* and swimming in piles of money right now.

One more thing: Out of all of the shows on A&E, Duck Dynasty is getting more attention than Beyond Scared Straight when you think about it.

The kids need to take more trips to the morgue. The episodes in which there's nothing but talking and shouting are boring as hell.

Even if the officers take them to the morgue, the kids aren't going to change. Some of them who claim they have changed, go back to doing bad things.

The show was much better a few years ago. My favorite was 'El Diablo',the one with the chain link tattoo on her face. I never thought I would root for a convicted killer especially one who is housed in a frigging penitentiary. 

I laughed when the kids had to call her and the other inmates 'Ma'am'. 

I have enjoyed some of the recent episodes like the one were there is that female inmate who says she only fights men because fighting women is not a challenge to her or the last episode were that 12 year old tried to act all tough around the intimates and they kept pushing him down,seriously its funny when these dumb kids act all tough around killers and real thugs
