Involuntary sterilization

I almost think that this should be done to the kids on that show, and their parents too so THEY don't breed any more.

There was an "alternative school" in the small Illinois town where I used to live, and I knew several people who had worked there, usually briefly, and every single one of them believed in IS after working with those kids. Even though they were schoolteachers, they had no idea that people like this existed in rural Illinois.

And that Treszura was a case for it if there ever was one. Her mom too.

Again, I've been a proponent of parenting licenses for a long, long time.

ANIMALS run wild, and procreate at will. They allow their sick, dumb and feeble to die off, and mate only the strongest.

HUMANS run wild, and procreate at will, except they protect, coddle and cherish their sick, dumb and feeble. THOSE sick, dumb or feeble wind up just as capable as procreating as anyone else because of the protecting, coddling and cherishing.

There's your difference between animals and humans, lol.

Yes, as "unconstitutional" as it is, I agree.

People will start screaming "Communism" but, some sort of qualifications to have children is in order. I live in a state that has a rampant welfare problem, with single mothers having several children.

Unfortunately, their kids grow up to be just like them, leaving a continual generation of welfare dwellers.

There should be no quotes around the word "unconstitutional." It is unconstitutional in the US.
The Chinese regulates parenthood right now. That means forced abortions. Do we really want to go there?
I don't trust to the good faith of my government.

Get me a bromide! And put some gin in it!

Yeah, great idea, Adolf. I think we should start with you.

There was much sterilization going on over in the early 20th Century; from so-called progressives like Oliver Wendell Holmes to that founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger promoted sterilization, and pretty soon it became the common practice of the National Socialist German Workers Party.

Who are you or anyone else to decide who should and shouldn't procreate? Contrary to what this modern society is trying to cram into everyone's heads, we are not brute animals subject to scientific breeding techniques or the practices of thinning the herd. So many kids like those you see on this show have the ability to change their lives for the better and become productive human beings, and many of them do succeed. Who are you to deprive them of the chance for change, happiness,a family and a legacy?
