Why was he angry at the child working?

I mean its not that big of a deal to have a child work on the train, in tight quarters, since it meant preventing everyone from dying.

Yet the main character raged for unknown reasons. better to have a child inconvenienced then all die and cause the extinction of humanity in my opinion.

Wasn't it because what they were removing was the 'industrial waste' which was basically a drug that zombied them out?

it's not that they made the children do the work, its that they didn't use the children of "high society" do the work. they used the poor people in the back of the train and let them breed for the child labor...

The thing is children work 9-4 every day for free, it’s called school. It’s compulsory. And it benefits the kids and the economy in the long run.
