It was a new take on an old formula and well done and a nice lean 80 minutes. At times it reminded me of Cloverfield and Carrie but mostly it struck me as a metaphor for many a school shooting.

I agree. This movie was definitely reminiscent of Carrie. It was a nicely done allegory for school shooting but with the replacement of telekinesis.


