Josh Trank not all that responsible for Chronicle?

So Chronicle was a huge hit, which really put director Josh Trank on the map, which landed him the Fantastic Four reboot, and a Star Wars movie - but then he messed up the former, and got himself fired from the latter! So what gives?

Max Landis is just awful as Trank is. This was A one hit wonder for both
