The jury looked wrong
When it showed the jury just before the verdict was read, they were all looking at Bernie. If they really had all agreed he was guilty, they would have been avoiding his gaze. When a jury acquits an individual, they will be more likely to gaze at him. It is very unlikely that a jury would ever stare at the defendant having returned a guilty verdict against him. Yes, I know you will say they were judging him with their stares. I think that is just a movie tactic written in the script. A real jury would be uncomfortable looking the defendant in the eye after convicting him.
