Am I the only one who thinks, that after reading the plot, the movie sounds a lot like Weekend @ Bernie's?

The corpse was in the freezer, and it remained there. Most murderers attempt to conceal their crime as long as possible. The guys in the Bernie film were trying to get a free weekend's entertainment. They did notn't kill their Bernie.
