Anyone else dislike him MORE after seeing this?

Before this he was just a forgettable tween wave singer, something to be popular for a few years then rightfully forgotten about when the next cookie cutter cute boy singer is forced upon the world by the record execs. Then I saw this! My main question is: why he didn't just stay with the instruments?! Why do singing, which he is much worse at!

He has some legit talent at the drums, and to a smaller extent the guitar. Rather than break the mold and show kids how important actually playing an instrument is, he takes the greedy and lazy route to become a pop singer for little girls.

What the hell?! Anyone else feel this way?

what a incredibly dumb post, op.

and yes, i'm defending bieber. while he may not be the best musician, he's certainly not the worst either. so why dislike him more after seeing this movie? it doesn't make any sense.

My whole post was the reason - did you even read it? Here's the main point, AGAIN:

He has great instrument skills, much better than his singing. So why not play them as his act? With a chance to show tweens of today that instruments are as important as their precious singers, why not go the instrument route? Why sell out and go the lazy singing direction when he has legitimate skill at drums and guitar?

THAT's the reason I dislike him more. Again, I wouldn't give 2 craps if he were just another bubblegum flavor of the moment for kids with money. But the fact he played instruments and gave that up in favor of what's more likely to make him money is what gets me.

You should defend him by the way! Always stick up for what you enjoy, don't let me or anyone else tell you otherwise...

I've never seen the film, and I already dislike him more after reading this thread.
