1.6 Average User Rating!! Mostly ONES and TENS.

The ratings distribution for this movie has got to be one of the least meaningful things I've ever seen on IMDb. 93% of people rated it either ONE or TEN. Less than 7% rated it anywhere between 9 stars and 2 stars.

Anyone who would even consider watching this movie in the first place, would likely give this movie between 4 and 10 Stars.

I think the peak at 6 and 7 is a more meaningful predictor of what a normal, level-headed viewer is likely to think about NSN. When I say "normal, level-headed", I mean anyone EXCEPT the haters and hardcore fans: those millions of us who like some of his music but don't worship the Biebs.

If I could poll a large number of people that I like and respect, I would bet that most of them would rate NSN between 5 and 8 stars. The internet is completely over-run with extremists, who think they are the majority, but they're not. Most people just like movies -- they like some more than others, but they give few ONES and few TENS when rating movies.

I am not a fan of Justin. I'm 30 years old, and I realize that has a lot to do with it. I have also never seen this film, but I stumbled upon it in the Documentary section. I was pretty surprised to see the score, but then got to thinking, and it kinda makes sense. Not enough of his core audience is on this sight to help him out. I think it is a reflection of people who rank movies low, without even seeing it, and simply because they don't like something attached to the movie. In this movie's case, it comes down to him, people sometimes hate people in the limelight simply because they are there and the light they're in isn't one they like. It happens all the time on here, and I'm sure on other sites as well. With that said, it is frustrating.
