Would Gatehouse have let the chaffeur live?
He was about to give him some money then the chauffeur said something and Gatehouse changed his mind? Or was that his plan all along?
shareProbably not. Sounds like he knew he saw him perform the murder.
But perhaps he was contemplating letting him live until the chaueffer said "I didn't realize it was..." and he knew the kid just couldn't keep his mouth shut and realized he had to kill him.
But I'm thinking he would have anyway, since he doesn't seem to be a guy that leaves lose ends.
