Durant's monologue in Washington

Nice way to bring the series to a close. And a great delivery by Colm Meaney.

I agree.

The other thing is that it's easy to have forgotten by now how much Grant didn't like John Campbell. He was a carpet bagger run out of the south so I can see how he would have lost in his campaign against Durant.

I know this show's always flown under the radar, living in the shadow of bigger hits on AMC, but I would love to see Anson, Colm, and Byron Mann score some emmy love next year.

Kenneth Branagh should direct and star in Shakespeare's Star Wars.

It was a brave choice to give him such a long monologue, but it was really a wonderful delivery by Meaney.

What I particularly loved about the monologue--aside from the fantastic delivery, of course--is how it called back to the monologue from the closing scene of the pilot for season one. It was an absolute perfect way to bring the series to a close.
