About Superman's appearence, he looks like...

Heh, just throwing this out there...

I gotta say, on comics, the different versions of Superman never really bothered me (Alex Ross art being my favourite, squinty eyes and Supes at late 30's or 40's), on the animated side of things though, anything that doesn't carry the basic Bruce Timm visual style (Batman\Superman The Animated Series, Justice League\Unlimited) seems a little bit "off" (not saying that they are bad).

I mean, look at Apocalypse (those eyes and mouth)\Public Enemies (those eyes and bush brows)\Return of the Black Adam (can't really point anything that stands out weirdly here... maybe Supes jaw?).

Now, All-Star has the Bruce Timm touch... "so what is it that is bothering me?" I ask. It isn't the short cape, but the eyes and the lips, again. And it's not because the eyes ain't squinting or the lips are way too defined (or the reason that other thread stated), it's because it looks like Marlon Brando (I don't mean it in a bad way).

Or is it just me?

It's just you. I don't see it - Looks more like a cross between Tom Welling and Dean Cain. The big lips are from Welling's look and the nose and the eyes look more like Cain.

Dean Cain?? Sure doesn't look Chinese to me.
