AND I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has to be the most boring fragmented chunk of character woship i have ever seen. It like the whole point was to show for wonderful a character superman is.

They made him even stronger. Yeah its superman and all but come on. When a character is made so powerful that he's never seen to be in any kind of danger or struggle , theres no suspense to the story.

Supersmart

Totally and absolutely morally perfect (Point-Practically No ones like this. All characters have their moral faults just like everyday people, you do this you make the character boring and unrelatable thats why we have quirks like Tony Stark being a womanizing drunk, Spiderman never gets his life right, Batman can be mean and insensitive, Booster Gold is a gloryhound, we like em because they reming us of our imperfect selves) Thats why Luthors speech to Clark saw so amusing to me, it basically criticised the story in itself)Its acually a reason why some peoople dont like superman, he's too "good"

As well as being superstong and smart he got a lab that can do everything.Wow. Ho more perfect can he be?

Then his supersmartness and goodness managed to make Lex (the only really interesting character ni the film, reform) Wow so superman is so great he can turn evil murderous villains over to the light side so that they want to bring him back to life/clone him. (Is it just me or are the trying to build Him as some sort of Messiah figure?)

Note- Fans tend to like to choose who they like based no the characters merit. They dont really like them being forced

Then came the story- The basucally tried to squeeze in all these plot points form abt 12 issues into 76 mins. So basically we go villains and evens just shoved in with no foreshadowing or build up . 2 Kryptonians just pop up undexpectedly and go out just as quickly. Solaris just turns up in front of the sun??? Luthor just makes a superpowered cocktail out of the blue

Then finally the action was not there.Youd have thought that theyd give some fight scenes to add up. Nope >every battle was ended in a unsatisfactorily actionless way and there were some good potential fights.

In short the only thing good about this imo was the greenlantern preview

So, what are your favourite Superman comics?

I mean, you do like Superman, right?

You think that it was called "All Star" Superman for a reason?

It was called that because the ultimate names was already taken. Seriously, the all star line was an ultimate style revamp using all star writers and artists (Quietly and Morrison)

And no i dont really like Superman, but i like good comic movies.Those ones that have me on the edge of my seat wondering how the hero will defeat this problem. Its harder to do well with Superman with him being so powerful, But Superman can be well written like this look at the Justice League/Doomsday/Public Enemies movies. There was a credible threat to be beaten Not this one. It seemed basically aimed at showing ho wonderful he is and was totally boring. I actually was rooting for Luthor

you obviously didnt take the time to read my post huh? I dont like superman but i enjoy good action packed comics movies thats why i liked Doomsday and Public Enemies. I watcvhed it in the hope maybe id be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the story. To me they missed out on some good potential battles just to show how amazingly perfect and moral supes was.

You are aware that he was going to die at the very beginning and has to figure out a way to stop that from happening. Yeah, its not a physical threat, which makes this even more challenging because how does the strongest man ever beat something he cannot hit? You,I think, just wanted balls out action. Nothing wrong with that. But this movie was about how Superman spends his remaining time doing all the things that make his Superman.
