Enjoyable but missed out too much.

There was so much I was looking forward to in the movie that I'd read in the comics and most of it wasn't even there. I realize that the DC animated films are usually just over an hour but couldn't they have made this one longer to get other good bits in?!

Like when Superman turns evil because of black kryptonite and Jimmy turns into Doomsday to battle him?

Or Bizzaro world?

Or when Superman creates a whole new universe, one without him in it. Basically our world.

Or the Supermen from different times, includng Kal Kent the Superman of the 853rd century? And an explanation as to where he gets the indestructible flower.

They don't even mention properly the 12 tasks.

Don't get me wrong, it was good but it could've been so much better.

It would have benefited from a longer running time. But I don't think DC makes enough cash from these DVDs to warrant creating full length films.
