Verily I say unto thee...surely not or maybe the gasping star of this show thinks that it makes him sound cool...it doesn't.Also is he ever on the same set as those who play his team or does he film his dialogue lines at home and they merely react to a stand-in? Certainly looks like it in the episode I saw.

I always thought his "accent" leaned more toward "Cajun" than Deep South. Which I'm guessing he picked up working/living in Louisiana for 20 yrs.

Nah. But when you dump on 80-100 lbs since Above the Law and your sternum is smothered by excessive weight your lung capacity will be suppressed, not to mention cramp your ability to run and force you to stay in your SUV while you chase down perps.
